What is it with people thinking they can come up with their own “slang.” They’re as creative as a red apple. 

Just the other day I was on Facebook and I saw someone that I went to high school with post about the dinner that he made, saying that it was “fire.” 

“So then your food burned,” I responded. 

“No, no, no Zack. It’s slang. Fire means hella’ good.” 

“Oh, silly me. You see, where I come from, fire burns.” 

And then he put, “SMH,” (shake my head) like we were in the eighth grade and chatting on Myspace. 

Please stop trying to make your own slang happen; it comes off very unslangy.
