Texting-Lingo

The generations of texters and Tweeters just keep getting dumber and dumber. And we can only blame it on auto-correct for so long. If anything, auto-correct is saving us. 

I recently came across this status update by someone on Facebook:

Just B/C ihave a boufriend doeant fuken mean ikant have guy frans like forreal guys now a days gunna get more open minded ugh!!

How stupid. Like forreal.

First off, if you can’t spell the F-word correctly, then you’re clearly too young to be using it. Secondly, why spell “cant” with a “k?” It has the same number of letters and just looks dumb. And this adding an “i” before every word? What’s the point of that? Unless you’re paying a tribute to Steve Jobs, don’t do it. And by the looks of this chick, she probably doesn’t even know who Mr. Jobs is. (He’s not the guy from the unemployment office.) 

And what the hell is “frans?” Like forreal guys. Ugh!!
